Winter in Montana … those of us living here know that there are a few “creature comforts” that bring joy to our day. We are pleased to extend a few of those complimentary comforts to you:

• The smell of chocolate chip cookies in the oven, and even better – the taste of a warm cookie! We serve fresh baked cookies every evening.
• Thick, fluffy comforters - washed fresh and clean with every check-out.
• Hot chocolate (or cold milk with those cookies). Our beverage bar is open to you 24 hours and includes milk, coffee, hot chocolate, juice and teas.
• A good movie – the Boothill Inn offers a DVD library with the classics as well as new releases.
• And now I have a secret for you … if you ask the front desk for a microwave popcorn they will give you one from their stash! Every room now offers a microwave and refrigerator.

The Boothill Inn is nestled in the midst of Billings' extensive bike trail, perfect for a bike ride,
a jog, or a leisurely walk.

• Complimentary bikes available at the local Chamber. Our courtesy van will be happy to deliver you to the Chamber to pick up a bike.
• Do you enjoy treasure hunting? At our front desk you can borrow a handheld GPS pre-loaded with geocaches within walking distance of the Boothill Inn. Don't forget to take some Boothill chips to leave in the cache when you find it.
• Our namesake, Coulson City's (precursor to Billings) Boothill Cemetery is just up the hill from the Boothill Inn. Explore this historic site and imagine the heroes and outlaws buried here who "died with their boots on."
• Within a 2-hour drive explore national landmarks such as The Battle of the Little Bighorn, site of the final battle for George Custer; Pompeys Pillar where William Clark carved his name into the rock, Yellowstone National Park (should be on everyone's bucket list). Other sites include Pictograph Cave just outside of Billings, Plenty Coups Memorial and many many more historical sites.

Meet Monte (short for Montana Bear). Monte showed up on our doorstep several years ago and has become a favorite here at the Boothill Inn. Whether enjoying the hugs and kisses of our youngest guests, or putting up with the smiles of the grown-ups hamming it up for a perfect Montana photo-op, Monte is here.

With his extensive wardrobe Monte is always dressed for the occasion. (Monte's favorite outfit is his Cowboy gear and his least favorite is his pair of Speedos).
